In total there were 5 designers in the show with each 5 outfits. The great thing about the Fashion hotel is that it aims to be a platform for new designers. Giving them an opportunity to show their designs in a fashion show or exhibition. I really enjoyed being one of the designers in this show. Striped fabric was used in clothing for sailors and prisoners because it stands out from nature so much. When a sailor would fall overboard or a prisoner would escape they could be found more easily. Later on it became a fabric used in fashionable clothing (Coco Chanel used it too).
